Dinan, as an historic town, has lots of sights to offer. One of the most acclaimed of these sights is of course the medieval castle. Another known sight is the Clock Tower with its 23 meter belfry, which offers a splendid view of the town.
Transportation
To get to Dinan the most viable option is the train. Although not many trains stop in Dinan, it is still the best way to travel since most trains stop in cities near Dinan from which you can take a bus.
Events
Dinan has organized, for several years now, very successful celebrations. “Un enfant dans la ville” and “La Fete des Remparts” are the town’s popular events, which take place in alternate years during the summer.

Dinan has some very good restaurants and dining out will be very tasteful and not very expensive. The town also has a fun and booming nightlife, which will make your stay as pleasurable as can be.
